Fabulous Antique Victorian Book Chain Locket
The Victorian book chain necklace held popularity from the mid-to-late 19th century. The book chain design later experiences popularity during the revival trends of the 1930s into the 1970s. Each decade had its take on Victorian revival design. Herewith is a fabulous vintage Victorian book chain locket. The locket features a highly embossed and raised design. It can house two pictures and has the original interior frame and plastic. We do not have the original key-like mechanism to open the locket, but when inserted and carefully rotated, a small optical screwdriver will cause the locket to pop open.
